6 - 8 years

Meeting Day

Monday 5.15 - 6.15

Venue: Wesley Hall (click for map and full address)

Helpers: Deer (Laura), Woodpecker (Billie), Jay (Jay) and Lynx (Alex)

Our Beaver Colony has a membership of up to 20 boys and girls who have fun taking part in all kinds of activities.

We follow a balanced programme with the children to help provide interest and variety, incorporating;
- Helping others and meeting new people
- Going on visits eg the fire station
- Exploring the world and going outdoors
- Playing games, craft work and music making
- Prayer and worship

Through these methods the Beavers achieve their Challenge Awards, culminating in The Chief Scout’s Bronze Award as they move on to Cubs.  Alongside the Challenge Awards are Joining In and Activity badges to be worked for – all through having fun with old and new friends.

Every week is different at Beavers with new activities, people to meet, things to create and places to go. Outdoor activities feature greatly, with meetings at the District Campsite, in Horsham Park and local Nature Reserves, to name but a few.

Life is never dull at Beaver Scouts!

Subs: £35 per school term.
