Our Scout Troop is for young people who want a bit of adventure. During weekly meetings and occasional weekend events our Scouts take part in a balanced programme that:
- helps them to find out about the world in which they live
- encourages them to know and develop their own abilities
- gives practical lessons in the importance of team work
- builds leadership skills

​

Being a Scout helps develop creative talents and provides opportunities to explore values and personal attitudes. Being outdoors is important, and a proportion of the programme involves traditional scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking, as well as a wider spectrum of adventurous activities when the opportunity arises, like midnight hikes.

​

With the help and support of parents 6th Horsham Scout Troop helps our Scouts to grow into self-reliant, confident and compassionate members of society.

Subs: £30 per school term.
